EXAMINATION WING -"SARVODAYA AWARD SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME"

Date of Examination: Saturday, 06 November,2010

Entries begin : June 2010

Last date of receiving entries: 31st August 2010

Time of Examination : 10.30 to 12.00 noon

Minimum entries
Entries less than 20 candidates from an institution will not be accepted.

Fee
A nominal Fee of Rs. 50/- will be collected from each candidates who would like to participate in the examination.

Guides with model question papers will be made available to schools at the following rates.

LKG to Class V Price 45/-

Class VI to X Price 50/-

This scheme aims at identifying the innate among the children of different age groups and providing scholarships to the talented children.

It conducts 2 National Level Competitive examinations:-

Sarvodaya Award Scholarship Exam- in November every year

Mathematics & Science Olympiad- in January every year

This wing also organizes workshops and classes on education, personality development, histronics, cultural activities etc. with a view to developing memory, reasoning power and imagination among the children.

Stdents of LKG to Std X are eligible to appear for the examination.
The medium of examination is English. The questions are objective type with no negative marks for wrong answers. Number works, General Knowledge, Environmental studies and colourings are included in the syllabus for L KG CLASSES.
For the Classes Std-1X the questions based on English language, General Knowledge, General Science, Mathematics and Mental Ability of the respective classes are included. Guides are published separately for the Sarvodaya Award Scholarship examination and Mathematics and Science Olympiad examination for all the classes.
